Hi all!
I have been a slacker as I have not done
any blogs on my website so far! So i thought it was time to loose my blogger
virginity! hehe! Since I last wrote I have been to Gympie Music Muster
which was the most awesome festival ever! I competed in the Maton Talent Search
and got the opportunity to play some of my new orginals going on the debut
album.
On a personal note, I have been on
a weight loss journey and have so far lost 37.5kg since April 2012. I
initially started loosing my weight when got the opportunity to record my debut
album and I had become fed up of people seeing me as the fat girl before any of
my accomplishments. I have psoted a photo below of my before and after shots
that I am extremly proud of and I hope it inspires you to follow yours dreams
and reach for the stars. Due to the recent relocation to Mackay I have been a
little queit on the gig front but that is slowly picking up and i have a few
tricks to pull out of my sleeve for 2013! I was very honored to recieve an
invitation to Queensland Champion of Champions this month but unfortunalty
I could ot attend due to the fact i am broKe hehe!! Oh the joys of being a
musician hehe!
